TPI has three basic types of temperature probes: penetration/immersion, contact, and air. Each type comes in varied tips and connector types.

  • K-Type Thermocouple with Sub-Mini Connector Probes

    Description
    K-Type:
Wide temperature range used in many digital thermometers. Identified by a yellow connector.
Sub-Mini Connector: This is an industry standard connectory type allowing TPI probes to be used in any thermocouple thermometer using this type of connector. Sub-mini cnnectors are quick and easy to use, simply push in and out. A wide variety of economical probes are available with sub-mini connectors, enhancing versatility and affordability of the termperature tester.

  • T-Type Thermocouple with Lumberg Connector Probes

    Description
    T-Type:
Narrowest temperature range but most accurate. Identified by a blue connector.
Lumberg Connector: Uses a screw collar to attach to the thermometer. Most secure connection available. Designed for food processing environments
